- Arrange to have someone video one of your practice sessions (and/or have a coaching colleague observe a session). In planning practice, how much time do you want your players to practice offensive skills in (a) uncontested situations and (b) contested situations.
On review of the video, (or have your colleague) record how many times each athlete practices post or perimeter offence in a contested situation.
- Have your players identified the key elements for performing offensive skills on both the perimeter and in the post. Are you happy that they understand how to perform the skills? Compare this assessment with how well they are able to execute the skills in a game.
