- What are the main differences between tournament play and league play?
- What activities would you use in a selection trial for a team to compete in a tournament? What differences would you make if selecting a team for league play?
- Once the team competing in a tournaments is selected, how would you communicate the structure with the players?
- Discuss with a coaching colleague who has coached at a tournament:
- If they trained during the tournament;
- What “scouting” of opponents they did and how they did it;
- What adjustments the coaches made during the tournament to either the roles players had or structure of play?
- Watch a game and get a video of it if you can. Limit yourself to 6 hours to prepare a presentation to your team to and prepare them for a game against one of the teams.
